Wenn ich zu Hause bin und mir die Bilder in Ruhe ansehe, wird mir dann das volle Ausmaß des Elends bewusst. Wo vorher noch ein gutes Motiv war, ist nun ein menschliches Schicksaal und mir wird klar warum es gut ist diese Dinge bildlich festzuhalten. Bilder wie diese gehören hier in Nepal, wie auch in vielen anderen Ländern zum Alltag. Das mag jetzt für einige nach flacher Sozialromantik und weltverbesserischem Idealismus klingen, aber wenn man sich mal genauer mit der Thematik auseina.
